About us
Our research focuses on species ecology and biogeography, using advanced statistical methods and modelling to examine how species and communities interact with their environments across spatial and temporal scales.
As a Node and the main Modelling Stream in the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Indigenous and Environmental Histories and Futures (CIEHF) and our strong partnership with the Australian Museum Research Institute, we investigate how climate change and human disturbances—past, present, and future—reshape ecosystems, informing prioritised conservation planning.

Our work spans terrestrial and marine ecosystems, assessing biodiversity patterns, species responses to environmental change, and the effectiveness of conservation strategies.
